4 Day Luxury Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi Tour

• You’ll be picked up from the airport (or hotel)

• Morning/Transfer: You will be picked from Kigali International Airport/Any Hotel in Kigali to start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey is very scenic and will take you  through a country of a thousand hills to the Pearl of Africa.
• Afternoon/Lunch: You cross over to Uganda at Katuna for a stop at Kabale town for lunch before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
• Evening: You will arrive at the Hotel, Relaxation dinner and overnight

• Morning/Briefing: After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Trek. Once this is done, you will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you from half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists.
• Trek and Observation: On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the Park headquarter. This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas.
• Afternoon/Lunch: You will have your Packed Lunch from the forest, and Later trek back to the Park Headquarters to receive certificates for Successful gorilla Habituation trek
• Evening: You will have arrive at the Hotel, You can opt to relax or engage in community visit, Nature walk then Later dinner and overnight.

• Morning/Transfer: Drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale District. Lake Bunyonyi is one of the three Lava damned Lake which was formed when lava flowing from one of the volcanoes blocked a river channel and water was forced to flow back hence filling the space to create lake Bunyonyi. Bunyonyi locally means small birds due to the abundance of small birds in this area. Lake Bunyonyi is said to be the deepest lake in Uganda and second deepest in East Africa. A person visit Lake Bunyonyi for its beauty and is one of the best place to relax after your gorilla trek. There are optional activities around the lake that you can do including canoe rides and walks.
• Afternoon/Lunch: You will have Lunch at the beautiful Birdnest resort on Lake Bunyonyi
• Evening: You can opt to relax or engage in community visit, Nature walk then Later dinner and overnight.

• Afternoon/ Lunch: You will have en-route Lunch at a local restuarant and then procced to Kigali to end the trip.
