What to Expect

The fifteen-day tour is a fully Geographical safari, exploring varieties of features both the flora and fauna. Such as the water bodies, mountainous sceneries, the evergreen vegetation and the wild game.

    Itinerary

    Day 1Airport Pick up

    ou will be received by our professional driver/guide, and then be transferred to Kampala the Capital city. It will only take 45 minutes’ drive to reach your hotel premises, in Kampala.
    Retire for dinner and the night at Adonai House in Muyenga.

    Day 2Travel to Murchison Falls National Park

    Your guide will pick you from Adonai House after breakfast then start your journey to Murchison falls National Park. Lunch will be at Heritage Safari Lodge, rest for a while and enjoy an evening game drivecrowded with large herds of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, leopards etc.
    Retire for dinner & the night at Heritage Safari Lodge.

    Day 3Game drive and Launch cruise.

    Rise up for an early morning game drive which starts at 7.00 am. It is relatively cool before the sun rises too. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. Have a nub and enjoy your lunch meal prior to your afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the falls which is one of the highlights of your trips. Expect to see crocodiles and Hippos and the beautiful arrays of birds including herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, fish eagles, kingfishers and sometimes the rare shoe bill.
    Retire for dinner and the night at Heritage Safari Lodge.

    Day 4Transfer to Kibale forest National Park

    Check out of the Lodge after breakfast, and set off for Fort Portal. It will take you 7-hours to drive to Fort portal one of the Royal towns in Uganda. Kibale forest is embraced with an expanse of pretty and different belt of tropical and ever green belt.

    The park is a home to 13 species of primates’, black and white colobus, blue monkey and grey-cheeked mangabey, red tailed monkey, bush babies and pottos, 325 bird species , including the yellow spotted nicator, yellow rumped tinker bird, green breasted pitta, African pitta, crowned eagle and the black bee-eater. There are a number of impressive mammals including forest elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, duikers and bats etc.
    Retire for dinner and the night at Primate Lodge.

    Day 5Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale forest park

    After breakfast go to the Park headquarters for orientation and you will be given a ranger to lead and guide you out in the tracking of the chimpanzees for these are very vulnerable to infections and diseases from humans. You will have a chance of seeing the red colobus monkeys and the rare L’Hoest monkey as well as other monkeys and bird species such as the sun birds, it’s rare to see other mammals but you can catch a sight of them while tracking.
    Retire for dinner and the night at Primate Lodge.

    Day 6Tour Fort Portal Town, and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

    After breakfast leave for the Fort Portal crater lake hike and Amabere g’Nninamwiru caves tour .The Amabere g’Nninamwiru cave tour encompasses theseeing of the beautiful scenery of stalactites and stalagmites in the ancient caves .You will be awestruck by thefascinating beauty of the extinct volcano with their deep blue colour water clarity scenery of the crater lakes, take picturesque and later you will retire to tour the royal Palace of the Toro kingdom. Lunch will be in Fort Portal Town, you will then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for the overnight and dinner.

    Dat 7Morning Game drive & Boat cruise in the Afternoon.

    Arise for an early morning game drive at 6.30am. It is best done in the morning and late afternoon hours. Some of the paths within the park pass through large mating grounds of great herds of Uganda kob.You will see hungry lions searching for the prey, large herds of elephants make their way down to the water. Bush bucks and Buffalo can be seen on the Kazinga Channel track. Return to the lodge for lunch, and a short nub.
    An afternoon boat cruise will give you a unique wildlife experience, buffaloes resting in the water while the big herds of elephant enjoy themselves drinking and playing along the Channel banks. Crocodiles will be seen sun bathing on the shores of the lake, occasionally leopards, bush bucks, beautiful rays of birds, will be seen.
    Retire for dinner and the night at Enganzi lodge.

    Day 8Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable.

    Check out of the Lodge after having breakfast and embark
    on a 5 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated in south western Uganda, on the edge of the Western Rift Valley and is jointly shared byKanungu, Kabaleand Kisoro districts. The park occupies 331 square kilometers in size. The neighboring local people of the park are the Bakiga, Batwa and Bafumbira.

    Check in Buhoma Community Rest Camp where you will have your lunch and rest for the evening to prepare for the next day’s thrilling venture.
    Also dinner and the night will be at the Buhoma Community Rest Camp.

    Day 9Gorilla tracking for the day

    Report to the Park headquarters for orientation, where you will given a Ranger guide to lead you for the day’s exercise of Gorilla tracking. The tracking experience starts at 8.30 am local time and can last from a few hours to a whole day! You will have packed Lunch.
    It will be great joy when you will encounter these gigantic creatures the gorillas, but the tracking is quite challenging as the trails can be muddy and rain over head depending on the weather at the time of tracking.
    Retire for dinner and the night at Buhoma Community Rest Camp.

    Day 10Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

    Check out of the lodge and set off from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast.Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa next to Lake Tanganyika.
    Check in the Arcadia Cottages, have your lunch and rest. You will have an evening nature walk around in the communities. While on these trails, you will have the opportunities to see and learn about primates, many species of birds, butterflies, trees and other small species ofgame.
    Retire for dinner and the night at the Arcadia cottages.

    Day 11Bird watching at Lake Bunyonyi.

    You will enjoy more exciting activities the following day, such as Mountain biking, swimming, bird watching, Nature walks, Fishing, Canoeing and much more.
    Retire for dinner and the night at Arcadia Cottages.

    Dat 12Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo

    Depart from Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast and head for Lake Mburo National Park. It’s quiet far to drive to Lake.Mburo, but you will enjoy the sight-seeing along the way. Lunch will be in Mbarara.
    You will check in Eagle Nest Lodge and have your dinner and retire for the night at the lodge.The lodge is peaceful and homely located just adjacent to Lake Mburo National Park, with 10 rooms which are built on wooden platforms and stilts, covered by a thatched roof.

    Day 13Game Drive and Boat cruise at L.Mburo.

    After breakfast, you will go for a game drive because the park contains an extensive area of wetland and harbors several species of mammals such as,zeal of zebras feeding or gracefully resting in the grass, herds of impalas, elands, topi, buffaloesetc. It’s also a habitat for a number of bird species including the shareholder stork.

    A boat cruise in the afternoon, you will see the peaceful lake shores, Landscape with rolling grassy hills, the water animals such as crocodiles, hippos, etc.
    Retire for dinner and the night at Eagle nest Lodge.

    Day 14Game drive & transfer back to Kampala

    Wake up for an early morning game drive through the Zebra and Impala track. Expect to see Burchell’s zebra with other species including bushbucks, oribi and reedbucks. The Lakeside track is designed to facilitate viewing of water plants and animals. Return to Kampala toyour hotel premises.

    Day 15Transfer to the Airport.

    You will have the Kampala City tour, have your lunch in town and you will retire in the evening for your flight back home.
