Entanda is a community tourism project which was initiated by the locals of Mityana Town its main mission was, to conserve the unprotected wildlife and rejuvenate the declining cultural values through tourism. Entanda is on your way to Fort portal so this can be used as astop-over point for the visitors. Our facility organizes either half-day or full day activities, and can do a few hours, depending the time available to our esteemed guests. It’s also a unique adventure which can be introduced to the guests outside Kampala City.

The activities include, African food tours, the food tours include preparation of the major African cuisines, their recipes and tasting.
Traditional Food harvesting and dining, Practical classes on Luwombo preparation & dressing (Gomesi) , The Local dance and fresh fruits buffet, Shooting competition and swinging, Traditional hunting expedition we catch but don’t kill, it’s for fun, Bark cloth making, Local wine processing and traditional wrestling, Soccermatch, hosts verses visitors, Goatroasting. Tropical Rainforest walk, irresistible traditional music, dance and drama, Self-service buffet of fresh organic fruits, Educative, fun and informative Kojja- Ssenga talks, Play the board game – Omweso,Bicycle ride through tea plantations & rolling hills ,Bow and Arrow shooting competitions .
The famous ancient musical instruments, Bark cloth making & communal tree planting ,Tea picking, processing and tasting ,Traditional wine processing, Honey tasting in combs: Original and fresh from our hives , Reading competitions with the Entanda School Children ,The cool breeze of the entire surroundings plus their beautiful scenery.
All the above activities can be summarized in half a day starting at 8:30am-2.00pm but only the time factor cuts off some activities, while a full day starts at 9.00am-6.00pm.
